New Mailgaurd Features Added

We're always making improvements to our mailguard service, both from a technical and user point of view. Some recent frontend changes we have introduced are

Blacklist or whitelist message subject with wildcards

You can now whitelis or blacklistt any part of a subject. This way you do not need to login to mailguard to release or confirm spam for these rules. E.g. if you blacklist all subjects containing *passsport* then any email containing the work "passport" in the subject will automatically be blacklisted and confirmed as spam.

Auto-confirm and discard spam when score exceeds threshold

You can set a threshhold score per destination email address or domain. Once an email score exceeds the threshold you set it will automatically be confirmed as spam. This helps keep your incoming spam down and saves you having to look through too many emails in your quarantine. We reccomend a threshold of 12, with this setting your are nearly always guaranteed that the spam emails are auto-confirmed and do not appear in your quarantine with no false positives. To take advantage of this new settings please login to Mailguard and click "edit settings" against your domain or email address - then set the "Discard Spam when Score is >=" to 12 (or a number according to your personal preference).
